Living in the countryside
A small road brings you into the Pichlschloss courtyard among beautiful countryside. Here your holiday in Styria begins, your summer vacation, your time out.
Most guest rooms are located in our Landhaus. Each room is individually decorated, which is why many of our regular guests have "their" favorite room. The two-bedroom Grüner Salon apartement, Schmadl apartment (2-4 persons), the "Weitblick" apartement (whole floor in the castle for 6 - 8 persons) and the Gretlgwölb conference room are located separately in the castle which has been totally renovated in recent years.
Our heating runs on wood chips, out of the tap runs Pichlschloss spring water, we cook with products from the region, our sheets and linens are environmentally friendly washed and pressed on premise.
We do not just live in the nature reserve. We strive to continuously and consciously protect the environment!

Landhaus Rooms
There are several categories from which you can choose your room. Your well-being is important to us, so we have good beds, lighting and a cozy atmosphere waiting for you!
Nature Park Rooms
Two formerly smaller rooms have been converted into a spacious, cozy Nature Park Rooms, some with balcony, kitchenette, a desk, and cozy reading chairs.
Castle Suites
Protected by thick walls, with stunning views of the valley and the Seetal Alps, you will feel like knights and ladies if you stay in our castle suites!
„Schmadl“ Castle Suite
The Schmadl is ideal for guests who are looking for a holiday in a very special setting. Its comfortable, modern atmosphere combines with the charm of the vault and protective walls.
The Green Salon Suite
The suite has 2 bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom with shower and bath, and a kitchen. A private entrance leads directly via a staircase to the courtyard.
