## Sledging in Styria: winter fun on two runners

Sledging in the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park is a simple way to spend a winter’s day outdoors. You can set off on a sledging trip without much preparation. There are various sledging runs in the area around the Hotel Landsitz Pichlschloss, winding their way through the snow-covered landscape.

### The region’s top tobogganing spots

#### Tonnerhütte on the Zirbitzkogel with night tobogganing and a toboggan lift

A special tobogganing adventure awaits you at the Tonnerhütte. Make use of the uphill toboggan lift to reach the start of the toboggan run above the Tonnerhütte in comfort. Using a special safety toboggan, simply clip into the tow lift and let yourself be pulled to the start in complete relaxation. Then, with plenty of momentum, you’ll race back down the 1.5-kilometre-long natural toboggan run through the Zirbitz Forest to the start. A real highlight awaits every Friday and Saturday evening: during night tobogganing, you’ll whizz down the illuminated track through the quiet, nocturnal winter idyll.

- **Getting there:** approx. 35-minute drive from the hotel

#### Grebenzen Natural Toboggan Run (St. Lambrecht)

The natural toboggan run on the Grebenzen is ideal for longer runs. You can easily reach the top via the Grebenzen 10-seater gondola lift. From the top station, the run winds its way down into the valley, offering frequent beautiful views of St Lambrecht Benedictine Abbey.

- **Access:** approx. 15 minutes’ drive from the hotel.
